Your responsibilities will be the following:- Drive the implementation of safety and environmental standards across all phases of the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with design teams to integrate safety, environmental, and sustainability considerations into project plans.
- Contribute to risk assessments, including evaluations related to containment, fire safety, and regulatory compliance, during various project phases.
- Maintain up-to-date records to support real-time reporting and conduct regular inspections to ensure alignment with safety standards.
- Ensure compliance with applicable safety and environmental regulations and prepare documentation required for necessary project approvals.
- Maintain records to facilitate regulatory audits and compliance verifications.
- Serve as the key point of contact for environmental, health, and safety matters within project teams.
- Oversee the development and execution of safety-related deliverables, including assessments, reviews, and operational plans.
- Track and report project progress against established safety and environmental benchmarks to key stakeholders.
- Proficient in English at C1 level; fluency in German is a strong advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in safety engineering or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in a comparable EHS role.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in safety positions within the Pharmaceutical, Construction, Biomanufacturing, or Oil & Gas sectors.
- Certified in safety engineering through SUVA or a recognized national authority.
- Expertise in one or more of the following areas: Fire Safety, Environmental Hazards, or Process Safety.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a rational and analytical approach.
