Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026. The new team has three locations: the Sauber Group's Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland), Audi's Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg (Germany), and the Sauber Motorsport Technology Center in the UK. Our Power Unit comes from Neuburg, while Hinwil handles chassis development and race operations with support from the UK.What you need? The mindset of an athlete. This position is at Sauber in Hinwil (Switzerland).Your missionBe part of our CAD‑PLM Team to drive and support the continuous improvement of our digital PLM processes, on which engineering, fabrication, assembly, and race‑track operations depend, by ensuring flawless functioning and integration of the 3DExperience PLM system.Support our highly qualified designers with their CATIA‑3DExperience issues and methodologies.Play an active role in the further development of our CATIA‑3DExperience platform (e.g. researching new applications and functionalities to integrate into our processes, managing platform customisations, and participating in release/upgrade projects).Enhance our CAD/PLM methodologies for design processes, and conduct training and support.Install and configure CATIA workstations, including user‑ and client‑configurations.Ensure that our systems are optimally aligned with current needs and future growth.Your profileA completed technical study or higher technical education in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive, Computer Science or a comparable field; a bachelor’s degree in engineering is also acceptable.Practical experience in the use, support, and administration of modern CAD and PLM systems.Thorough knowledge of CATIA‑3DExperience and/or CATIA‑V5.Good understanding of design‑methods within CAD and PLM.Additional experience with CAM and CAE applications is a plus.Programming skills (e.g. Visual Basic, macros, scripting, etc.).Advanced English skills are required, German skills would be nice to have.Seniority levelEntry levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionEngineering and Information TechnologyMotor Vehicle ManufacturingReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Audi F1 Project by 2xGet notified about new Computer Aided Design Support Engineer jobs in Hinwil, Zurich, Switzerland. #J-18808-Ljbffr
