Strategy Lead (m/f/d)

What awaits you:

• You run data-driven analyses for management decisions.
• You coordinate the Regional Strategic Planning Process for Metal Procurement.
• You lead and coordinate strategic capital investment business case modeling and evaluation.
• You lead and support projects or sub-workstreams that will enable Novelis Europe’s achievement of short & long term sustainability and metal profitability goals.
• You build & maintain partnerships with key internal stakeholders in operations and value streams to identify opportunities to access new scrap sources and facilitate their usage in Novelis products.
• You structure and prepare data as well as strategic presentations for the European and Global top Management.

How you convince us:

• You hold a university degree in business economics, engineering or similar.
• You bring at least 5 years of related experience, either as strategist in a manufacturing company or as a consultant.
• You have a basic understanding of metal markets and manufacturing processes.
• You have proven project management knowledge and skills.
• Exceptional analytical skills characterize you.
• You bring excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills and you are experienced in creating strategic presentations.
• You describe yourself as a fast learner with strong communication skills on different levels of hierarchy, combined with a high level of self-motivation, curiosity, and critical thinking.
• Excellent English language skills complete your profile.

Novelis’ European Regional Headquarters is located in Küsnacht just outside of Zurich, Switzerland employing approximately 100 employees from more than 20 countries, which enable us to embrace diverse cultures and communities and push boundaries through unique thinking and learnings. Novelis’ Headquarters office is home to the Regional Leadership team strategy & sustainability finance supply chain human resources corporate communications legal and miscellaneous global functions. Its central location in Europe makes it an ideal starting point to reach other European cities and Novelis plants.
