MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

We are seeking a motivated Admissions Representative to join our team in a temporary role. The selected candidate will be responsible for recruiting and enrolling new students for Collège du Léman. Their primary mission is to deliver an exceptional “Family Experience” throughout the admissions journey, being a trusted advisor to parents in their search for the best educational fit for their children.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Respond promptly and effectively to inquiries from prospective families.
  2. Provide exceptional support to parents and students throughout the admissions process, ensuring a smooth and straightforward experience.
  3. Collaborate with the broader school team (academic, pastoral, and operational) to deliver excellent customer service.
  4. Develop a thorough understanding of each family’s needs to recommend the most suitable programmes for their child.
  5. Work hand-in-hand with academic staff to establish trust with families, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of the school’s academic, pastoral, and operational offerings.
  6. Assist parents through the application and assessment process, coordinating with schools of origin and ensuring timely submission of required documentation.
Guide families through the admissions process
  1. Focus on helping families move confidently through each stage of the admissions journey, leveraging clear and persuasive communication to showcase what sets CDL apart.
  2. Maintain accurate and secure family data in the admissions database, ensuring proper follow-up with all leads - active, dormant, and unresponsive - and generating reports with key performance indicators.
  3. Research and analyse the market to develop innovative admissions strategies and generate new leads, enhancing the school’s local brand image.
  4. Support the development and execution of the annual re-enrolment.
Administrative support for boarding admissions
  1. Assist with the visa application process for boarding students.
  2. Oversee the invoicing process for agents.

CANDIDATE PROFILESkills and competencies
  1. Exceptional customer service and sales skills.
  2. Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  3. Proven ability to listen with empathy and engage with customers in an authentic way.
  4. Team-oriented mindset with a proactive and positive attitude.
  5. Experience in sales and/or customer service, preferably in luxury, hospitality, or service-oriented industries.
  6. Data-driven approach with the ability to combine analytics and intuition to recommend actions.
  7. Excellent organisational skills and ability to navigate multiple priorities.
  8. Proficient in Excel.
  9. Fluent in written and verbal French and English.

You hold at least a bachelor’s degree and possess excellent written and verbal skills in both French and English. A master’s degree is preferred, and being a native French speaker with a high level of English is advantageous. Additional languages are a strong asset.

You have at least three years of experience in a sales and/or customer service role, ideally within the hospitality or luxury sector. While experience in private school admissions is beneficial, it is not required. Prior knowledge of hospitality and sales is important.

You have or are eligible to obtain a valid Swiss residence permit before starting the role, though this is not required at the application stage.
