Junior Engineer

Junior Engineer - Quality (Tool room division) Key Responsibilities Perform before Heating Inspection – check dimensions, tolerances, surface finish & machining allowances before heat treatment. Conduct Assembly Inspection – verify matching accuracy, shut‑off, parting line, slider & ejector movement, and alignment. Carry out Final Inspection – confirm dimensional & functional accuracy of complete mould/die before dispatch or trial. Prepare and maintain BHIR, AIR & Final Inspection Reports with proper documentation and traceability. Handle and maintain precision measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Profile Projector, CMM, etc.). Coordinate with Machining, EDM, Assembly & Design teams for deviation correction. Ensure compliance with ISO / AS9100D / IATF 16949 quality system standards. Support tool qualification, trials, and continuous improvement initiatives. Required Skills Strong understanding of tool & die design drawings and GD&T. Skilled in precision measurement & inspection techniques. Required Knowledge Knowledge of machining, heat treatment, assembly, and trial process. Good documentation, MS Excel, and communication skills. High attention to detail and problem‑solving ability. #J-18808-Ljbffr
