You will be the lead Digital Design Engineer in our Switzerland-based ASIC R&D team, designing the digital systems and building blocks for MEMS microphones. Together with the analog/mixed-signal designers, project managers, test development engineers, and other team members, you will be developing high-performance, low-power ASICs from concept to high-volume production.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Work out the digital architecture and design specification in collaboration with the project team.
  2. Perform RTL design & synthesis and supervise RTL-to-GDS.
  3. Work out the digital verification plan.
  4. Verify the digital system and blocks in collaboration with the digital verification engineer.
  5. Develop low-power audio signal processing architectures.

POSITION/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Degree in electronic engineering or related field.
  2. 4+ years of proven track record in developing digital blocks/systems for high-performance mixed-signal integrated circuits in a consumer or industrial R&D environment.
  3. Good understanding of the entire digital design flow and DFT.
  4. Experience with sigma delta ADCs or audio signal processing is an advantage.
  5. Solid knowledge in EDA tools such as Cadence (Conformal, Genus, Tempus etc.).
  6. Structured and methodological approach.
  7. Strong team player.
  8. Good spoken and written communication skills in English.
