Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage projects from inception to completion. The Project Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and partners to ensure the successful delivery of projects within scope, budget, and timeline.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including goals, objectives, deliverables, resource allocation, and timelines.
  • Team Coordination: Lead project teams, assign tasks, and ensure team members understand their roles and responsibilities.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, expenses, and resource allocation to ensure projects stay within budget.
  • Risk Management: Identify and assess project risks, develop mitigation plans, and proactively address issues as they arise.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and project objectives are achieved.
  • Documentation: Maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes.
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate and manage project resources efficiently to meet project goals.
  • Change Management: Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs, and communicate any adjustments to stakeholders.
  • Project Evaluation: Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, including successful project delivery and team management.
  • Experience in the transport sector is a plus.
  • Familiar with EC’s Horizon 2020 and Horizon European Research Programmes.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to manage various types of projects.
  • Fluent in English, with proficiency in additional languages such as French, Arabic, Spanish, or Chinese considered a plus.
  • Swiss, EU citizenship, or a valid permit to live and work in Switzerland.
