To support our international tax planning team in Switzerland, we are currently looking for a Junior Tax Analyst (80-100%):
Main responsibilities:
- Perform tax research, providing analytical support and preparing reports/presentations to the Tax Manager and its team in relation to transfer pricing and tax planning projects that can include income tax, indirect taxes, customs duties, and withholding taxes.
- Collaborate in the tax management of companies of the Group, mainly in Switzerland, including tax regime.
- Perform research for more senior members of the Global tax department in a range of tax specialties.
- Support tax projects and activities upon requests/needs.
- Monitor changes to tax legislation in Switzerland and abroad.
- Follow tax policy trends globally, notably in the area of transfer pricing.
- Assist in the management of the relationship with external advisors and relevant costs.
- Support the Global Tax team with budgeting and management in SAP. Related problem-solving in SAP when necessary.
- Complete payments on SAP upon requests (Purchase order and service entry sheets creation).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in law or higher qualification.
- Professional experience of around 3 years in a Big 4 or a multinational company.
- Good knowledge of direct taxes.
- Specific knowledge in Swiss taxation, accounting, and transfer pricing is a plus.
- Fluent in English and French; Portuguese is a plus.
- Ability to deal with multicultural regional offices, work with autonomy, and under pressure.
- Analytical, organized, and eager to learn within the field of taxation and tax planning.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
