Please do not contact the recruiter directly. Job Description Organon is looking for a Sr. Specialist Global Inventory & Compliance. This role is part of the Global Finance Team and will oversee end‑to‑end Global Inventory & Compliance processes, from actual inventory compliance management in global supply chain through to consolidation level accounting. In this role you will drive continuous improvement through analytics and data science, focusing on cost, process and system efficiencies to create a competitive edge. Main tasks include reviewing, reporting and analyzing inventory (IQV, Discards and Reconciliations) and product cost data, supporting the monthly accounting close and inventory management cycles, and SOX audit support for Supply Chain (SCM) and External Manufacturing (ExM) organizations. The role ensures adherence to Inventory Control & Compliance processes and internal governance that delivers value across the company portfolio. The incumbent is responsible for Inventory Reconciliation, Inventory of Questionable Value (IQV), Discards and other Inventory Compliance related activities within the OMS organization. Responsibilities Inventory Compliance Management Execute SOX compliance controls of IQV and Inventory Reconciliation in the Global Supply Chain Network, providing analytical support to finance teams. Perform accounting activities for IQV in accordance with US GAAP and internal reporting design, ensuring IQV inventory reserves are created and maintained. Reconcile inventory account balances related to IQV processes between General Ledger and SAP for alignment. Monitor discards and support Distribution Centers on discard processes, collaborating with planners, manufacturing sites, demand fulfillment and logistics. Support continuous‑improvement initiatives aimed at risk mitigation in planning or reporting on risk inventory. Execute transactional processes in SAP to support inventory movements through trade plants. Respond to ad‑hoc analytics requests supporting senior management decision making, maintaining SAC/Power BI dashboards. Coordinate Inventory related SOX audit preparations in SCM and ExM, driving the business toward permanent inspection readiness. Act as contact point for SOX compliance operational questions for supply‑chain and local finance personnel. Ensure appropriate internal controls are in place in accordance with corporate procedures, liaising with internal and external audit teams. Maintain and report performance metrics and perform ad‑hoc consolidation analysis to support business decisions. Provide training to grow necessary skills and behaviors within the OMS organization regarding inventory compliance. Represent inventory compliance on larger, complex projects such as SAP roll‑outs or global process design. Back‑up the line manager and other senior specialists or specialists as needed. Required Education, Experience, And Skill BSc or MSc Degree in a related business concentration (Supply Chain, Accounting, Finance or similar fields) required. Minimum 3‑5 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing environment or Finance. Proficient knowledge of SAP and advanced Excel skills. APICS CPIM or CSCMP certification is an advantage. SAC Dashboards and Power BI experience is an advantage. Internal Auditing and Compliance experience is an advantage. Lean Six Sigma certification, preferable advanced certification. Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and deliver high‑quality work. Intercultural experience and enjoyment of working in a multi‑cultural organization. Excellent communication, collaboration, leadership and interpersonal skills with global and cross‑functional teams and senior stakeholders. Ability to think end‑to‑end when analyzing problems and resolving conflicts. Willingness to be flexible and work in a rapidly changing environment. Ability to articulate complex thoughts and ideas accurately and clearly, detecting and correcting miscommunication. Ability to influence and design structures and processes for optimal performance and efficiency within the compliance team. Subject‑matter expert and resource for inventory compliance. Identify opportunities and drive system and process improvements for bottlenecks within inventory compliance activities, maintaining, harmonising and ensuring global standardisation of processes.
