Senior Lead - Procurement Category Management, LogisticsWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Lead - Logistics Procurement Category Manager to join the Global Logistics Procurement Team in Zurich. Our Global Logistics Procurement is responsible for procurement of inbound transportation, contract logistics, distribution/outbound and other logistics services.We are looking for a professional who can help drive procurement transformation for the logistics category. This role involves solving problems at scale, leading strategic sourcing projects, and supporting operational teams with contracts execution. The ideal candidate shall have experience in logistics procurement and strategic sourcing, with proficiency in Google tools/Microsoft Office applications.Your MissionManage the end-to-end category strategy, deliver logistics goals through procurement of freight service and contract logistics.Serve as Senior Management level escalation for commercial and operational issues with logistics vendors.Develop, align and execute a global parcels/last mile/courier sourcing roadmap with key stakeholders to achieve P&L savings and procurement value.Proactively contribute to the category's strategical development and collaborate closely with Supply Chain teams and external partners.Responsible for creating and driving procurement added value to enhance the logistics procurement global strategy.Leading sourcing activities related to parcel (B2B and B2C) and pallet outbound transportation.Collaborate with Distribution and Logistics Teams on delivering new procurement standards for outbound flows.Collaborate with Global Inbound Transportation Team to drive procurement improvements on global inbound transportation flows.Interact with internal stakeholders to co-lead and support procurement transformation.Prepare, manage, analyse and award RFPs/bids for contract renewals and new projects.Provide logistics procurement market intelligence, supplier research and financial analysis required to evaluate procurement business cases.Your StorySignificant experience in logistics procurement and strategic sourcing (min. 6 years) in parcels/last mile transportation procurement on global or regional level.Direct responsibility for transportation budgeting and contracting for at least 4 years.Ideally, experience with contract logistics (warehousing) procurement.Proficiency in Google tools/Microsoft Office applications especially Google sheets and slides.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide insightful recommendations to management for data-driven decision making.Fluent in English, other languages are a plus.About the TeamAs a global Supply Chain team, we work closely to convert innovative product designs into commercialised products and deliver exceptional quality to our customers.We are focused, data-driven but also action-oriented, and we build and follow processes, but also continuously challenge the status quo and industry standards.What We OfferOn is a place that is centered around growth and progress, offering an environment designed to give people the tools to develop holistically.On is an Equal Opportunity Employer, committed to creating a work environment that is fair and inclusive. #J-18808-Ljbffr
