A highly renowned international law firm has mandated me to search for an experienced Senior Microsoft System Engineer to strengthen its internal IT team in Geneva. In this role, you will be responsible for the stability, security and continuous development of a complex, business-critical IT infrastructure within a demanding professional services environment.highly renowned international law firmYou take ownership of the firms Microsoft-based on-premise and cloud infrastructureYou administer and further develop Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365 and Azure environmentsYou manage virtualization platforms (VMware / Hyper-V) and ensure high availabilityYou are responsible for backup, disaster recovery and business continuity solutionsYou act as a senior escalation point (3rd level support) for complex incidentsYou design, lead and implement infrastructure projects and technology migrationsYou ensure proper documentation, security standards and operational proceduresYou collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external technology partnersSeveral years of experience as a Senior System Engineer or Infrastructure EngineerSolid experience with virtualization (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V) and networkingGood knowledge of security, authentication and identity services (e.g. ADFS, SSO, DNS, VPN)Experience with automation and scripting (PowerShell; additional scripting is a plus)Structured, reliable and solution-oriented working styleFluent French is essential for this role; very good English skills are also requiredExperience in professional services, legal, financial or similarly demanding environments is a strong advantageWhat you can expectA technically challenging role with high responsibility and visibilityModern, well-maintained infrastructure in a quality-driven environmentLong-term perspective in a stable and highly reputable organisationProfessional, international working environment in GenevaAttractive employment conditions and opportunities for further developmentAs Managing Partner at The Brains, I am your direct point of contact.
