Lead - Warehouse Technology & Automation

In your role you will partner closely with key stakeholders across On's Global Supply Chain team, regional operations- logistics colleagues and 3PL partners, among many others. This position is based in Zurich, Switzerland and our working language is English.
Your Mission
- Act as the primary subject matter expert, providing in-depth knowledge and guidance on warehouse equipment, technology implementations, and data-driven logistics optimization.
- Manage RFID implementation projects in warehouses and returns centers, ensuring seamless integration and operational efficiency.
- Oversee the full project lifecycle, from planning and execution to monitoring, reporting and quality assurance.
- Discover specific use cases for RFID technology within the supply chain leveraging RFID data.
- Support the planning, design, execution, and go-live of 3PL warehouse automation projects.
- Lead the logistics equipment workstream for a 3PL warehouse automation project in EMEA including evaluation of Change requests according to the Logistics concept.
- Evaluate and recommend equipment needs for outsourced operations.
- Collaborate with regional teams to ensure project alignment, successful implementation, and knowledge transfer.
- Evaluate and recommend new warehouse technologies to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Provide ongoing support for implemented technologies.
- Hold a degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain & Operations Management or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in warehouse projects, warehouse operations and technology implementation.
- Deep understanding of scope and change management, with the associated cost management.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders or business partners.
- Strong understanding of warehouse and distribution operations.
- Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, preferably with Looker or similar platforms.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
