As a DevOps Engineer at Ivy Partners, you will be in charge of:

  • Contributing to the industrialization process through the adoption of DevOps methodologies.
  • Analyzing defects and incidents, identifying root causes, and implementing effective solutions.
  • Creating and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation.
  • Conducting code reviews to ensure alignment with defined specifications.
  • Writing automation scripts to enhance software delivery processes.
  • Transitioning from application-specific software delivery procedures to an automated, enterprise-level framework.
  • Working closely with solution architecture teams to design CI/CD solutions, leveraging existing frameworks.
  • Developing and maintaining deployment code using Puppet and Ruby.
  • Participating in Agile/Scrum events within the SAFe framework.

Profile:

  • Proficiency in Spring Boot and Maven for service development and project management.
  • Expertise in CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent, with strong analytical skills for understanding the existing delivery chain.
  • Advanced scripting abilities in Bash, Batch, and PowerShell.
  • Proficient in using Git for source control management.
  • Hands-on experience with Puppet and Ruby for infrastructure automation.
  • Experience working with Linux, Windows, and Docker environments.
  • Familiarity with Ansible or a willingness to learn and transition some infrastructure tasks to it.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, along with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
  • Autonomous, adaptable, and rigorous, with a passion for teamwork.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, with French or German being a strong asset.
