For the extension of our System Engineering team, we are seeking to hire (immediately or by arrangement) a dynamic and motivated System Engineer / Technician (f/m/d).The System Engineer we are looking for is a technician for customer projects. He/She supports other technicians of the team on technical issues and tools. Provides expertise and advice to the client on technical issues and problems. Writes technical documentation for the project, makes configurations and performs functional tests. Operates Hasler products on the train and trains the customer and internal technical employees.Depending on the degree of fulfillment of the requirements listed below, the applicant can be classified as a Junior or Senior System Engineer.You will be responsible for implementing activities related to new and existing products.Main ResponsibilitiesRequirements management for creating the System SpecificationGenerates and manages the technical project documentation and deliverables.Creating configurations for onboard electronic products like e.g. Event recorders, Energy Meter, Gateways.Specifies and executes system tests according to the project requirementsIs responsible for the correct configuration control of the project, for both Hardware and Software.For some products, it can be required to develop a PLC based applicationTechnical interface with the customer and internal employeesSupports the technical work of the other engineers in the project teamSupports the customer in case of technical questions and problems during the customer projectPerforms the commissioning and training of the customer, mainly in EuropeDefines test equipment and tooling requirements and ensures their timely availabilitySupport to R&D for validation of new HW and SW solutionsSupport to product management for standardized solution with 3rd party componentsRequirementsYou are our ideal candidate if:you hold a university degree in a technical field like Electrical or Electronic Engineeringyou have a minimum of 5 years of experience (applicable only for senior)you are able to prioritize and organize activities and generate and maintain a project scheduleworked in railway projects, an advantage if the projects involved safety-related developmentyou have the ability to identify project risks and opportunitiesyou like to work autonomously as well as in a teamexcellent knowledge of German and English both spoken and written is mandatory, any other language is a plusyou are organized and flexible in order to adapt to a dynamic environmentPreferred Qualificationsgood knowledge of railway standard EN50126, EN50155, EN50463advantage of security standards IEC62443-4 and ISO27001We have flat hierarchies and encourage direct communication between departments and levels of management.
