To strengthen the Project Engineering Office (PEO) in Winterthur we are seeking a highly committed and passionate personality as:

Lead Engineer LNG Marine 80-100 % (f/m/d)

The main tasks of your role:

  1. Subject matter expert for liquified natural gas (LNG) and hydrogen (LH2) applications in the marine environment.
  2. Develop pioneering technical solutions for plant engineering and system design of the entire compressor package scope.
  3. Define, promote, and continuously improve global engineering standards, based on market and product requirements.
  4. Timely and cost optimized delivery of engineering documents.
  5. Structured management of the related engineering know-how and training.
  6. Collaboration with product management and R&D and participation in the innovation process.
  7. Consult application and project engineers during sales and execution phase.
  8. Identify suppliers for new products and ensure a global supply chain in cooperation with strategic procurement.

Your knowledge, experience and skills:

  1. Master's degree preferably in mechanical or process engineering, or similar education.
  2. At least 5 years’ of experience in an international environment, preferably within the marine technology related fields.
  3. Understanding of the relevant codes, standards and requirements.
  4. Solid knowledge of plant engineering and construction of rotating equipment.
  5. Fluent English in written and spoken is essential, good German language skills are an advantage.

  3. Proactive approach with a convincing appearance and diplomatic communication skills.
