DevOps Engineer Avaloq Core Platform (w/m/d) Zurich Kantonalbank is looking for an experienced and team‑oriented DevOps Engineer with excellent communication skills and solid technical know‑how to strengthen its Core Banking Platform team. The role focuses on the development, operation, and continuous improvement of the Avaloq Workbench and related tools. Responsibilities Avaloq Release Management (ACP upgrades and adhoc build installations) Responsible for the Avaloq Workbench, its further development, and the operation of the Avaloq Core Platform Ensure smooth operation and analyse support tickets Develop self‑service and automation solutions to accelerate the development and deployment process Analyse and solve complex problems while maintaining high quality standards Collaborate closely with internal teams to address technical challenges and devise innovative solutions Qualifications Education in computer science or equivalent professional experience Extensive experience in Avaloq Release Management and shell scripting Experience with Linux operating systems, Oracle databases, and SQL Knowledge of networking (protocols, certificates, firewalls) and CI/CD DevOps tools Strong communication skills, high learning readiness, and openness to new ideas Good German and English language skills (at least B2) Offer Engaging and varied tasks with the opportunity to shape the future of banking in an agile environment A culture of appreciation paired with open and honest communication An attractive total compensation package, including side benefits and employee discounts (sports, leisure, childcare, health insurance) Support for further training, flexible/mobility arrangements, and unpaid leave A modern workplace in the central Zurich district 5 with excellent transport connections (Hardbrücke station) Access to internal and external networks and mentoring programs (e.g., Talent Community, Queers & Peers, Females in Finance membership, "Mensch" network, and others) Contact Amir Reshef is happy to help you.
