Frontend Developer

• Develop and maintain on the existing DeinDeal.ch Plattform using React.js and custom CSS components.
• Manage and enhance Progressive Web Apps (PWA), focusing on performance, offline capabilities, and user-friendliness.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and implement responsive designs for optimal performance across all devices.
• Collaborate closely with backend and design teams to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Participate in code reviews and actively contribute to defining and implementing frontend development best practices.
• Optimize performance and debug existing applications.

• At least 3-4 years of professional experience developing web applications using Javascript, TypeScript, React, HTML5, CSS/SCSS and being up to date with React's latest concepts.
• Experience with NextJS Latest releases (14+)
• Experience with JavaScript Tooling (Webpack, Babel / Vite, SWC)
• Git Mechanism Skills are mandatory.
• Good sensitivity with design and how to implement them in a component's logic
• Proven experience developing and maintaining Progressive Web Apps (PWA), including offline caching, Service Workers, and manifest files.
• Familiarity with state management libraries such as Redux or Context API.
• Strong drive to maintain and enhance code quality and good practices
• Proficiency in Linux systems and practical experience with shell scripting are mandatory requirements.
• Diligent in managing tickets and overseeing the release process.

• Affinity with testing frameworks like Jest or React Testing Library.
• Docker mechanism understanding is an asset.
• Knowledge of performance analysis tools like Lighthouse.
• CI/CD Knowledge is an asset (Managing pipelines and modern deployment processes).

• Ability to work independently and drive projects forward proactively.
• Structured thinking and a keen eye for detail in frontend implementation.
• Strong team player with a collaborative mindset.
• Openness to learning new technologies and a drive for continuous self-improvement.
