Because of this, there will be a production bonus incentive to stay until the end of the contract. Job Description Life Science Manufacturing Specialist Location: Bellevue, WA Department: Manufacturing Reports To: Susan Small, Production Supervisor Job Type: Temporary role ending June 30, 2026 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Life Science Manufacturing Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for aseptically filling liquid bulks into bottles using automated filling machines, peristaltic pumps, and hand pipetting techniques. This role is critical in ensuring the highest quality and compliance standards in our manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities Aseptic Filling Operations: Perform aseptic filling of liquid bulk products into bottles while adhering to strict aseptic techniques and regulatory guidelines. Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain automated filling machines and peristaltic pumps, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime. Hand Pipetting: Utilize hand pipetting techniques for precise measurement and transfer of liquid bulks, maintaining accuracy and consistency. Quality Control: Conduct regular checks and validations of the filling process, ensuring compliance with quality assurance standards and regulatory requirements. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production activities, including batch records, equipment logs, and quality control documentation. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Maintenance to optimize manufacturing processes and resolve any issues. Qualifications Education: Associate’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or laboratory environment, preferably within the life sciences sector. Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating automated filling machines and peristaltic pumps, along with hands‑on experience in pipetting techniques. Knowledge: Understanding of aseptic processing, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry. Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment.
