SAP QM Consultant Contract : B2B / freelance Location : EU (Mainly remote with occasional travel during deployment execution) Duration : 12 months plus possible extension Role This role bridges the gap between the global template Product Development teams and the local site Deployment, ensuring the core solution is adapted, configured, and rolled out effectively and in compliance. It requires deep functional expertise in SAP S / 4HANA QM including integration with other / local systems as well as a strong focus on execution, stakeholder collaboration, and ensuring local Go-live readiness. Requirements Strong experience in deploying complex, large-scale enterprise solutions (, global SAP deployments) across multiple international sites Proven experience as an IT Functional Consultant, Business Analyst, or similar role, preferably within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry Deep functional and configuration knowledge in SAP S / 4HANA : Strong expertise in the Quality Management (QM) module is essential. Experience with integration with other modules like Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), Materials Management (MM) and Production Planning (PP) is also required Experience working in a regulated, GxP-compliant environment and with Computer Systems Validation (CSV) Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban) and their application (and cohabitation) in a waterfall deployment context. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional, and culturally diverse team. Responsibilities Take ownership of the full deployment lifecycle for the area of focus within QM, including : Leading Fit to Template workshops & analysis and documenting local gaps and configuration requirements. Managing local configuration and driving necessary local developments to meet site-specific needs. Planning and running the Cutover process, ensuring seamless transition to the new solution. Supporting data cleansing and data readiness (coaching the Business) Driving and supporting deployment testing activities, including Bug fixing Ensure all necessary steps are completed to ensure Golive readiness Provide expert functional support during the initial implementation phase, including Hypercare and incident resolution Serve as the primary customer-facing IT partner, collaborating closely with local business / deployment stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
