In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical planning and execution of gas-insulated switchgear projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.**How you will make an impact*** Technical detailing of the high voltage part of gas-insulated switchgear in customer projects, including preparation of all documents for order, fabrication, assembly and customers* Discussion of technical solutions with customers and internal stakeholders* Planning and managing an engineering part in customer projects, including costs, deadlines and scope of delivery* Ordering of material including configuration of the material* Management of technical communication channels internally as well as externally* Detailed elaboration of quality cases and improvement processes* Technical support of the project until completion of on-site assembly* Occasional travel to customer meetings or site visits**Your background*** Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering* 1-3 years of relevant work experience in project engineering, ideally with gas-insulated switchgear or in a similar field in high-voltage* Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. Creo, AutoCAD) and other engineering tools and experience with SAP and Microsoft Office applications* Familiar with supporting various project phases, including production, transportation, installation, and testing* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and escalate issues* Experience in coordinating resources, including materials and equipment* Ability to work effectively within an international team environment and collaborate with other departments* Fluent in English; proficiency in other languages (e.g. German, Spanish or French) is a plusOur flexible work practices help you optimize personal and business performance while creating an environment where all employees can develop their skills and grow.## Qualified individuals with a disability may request a reasonable accommodation if you are unable or limited in your ability to use or access the Hitachi Energy career site as a result of your disability.
