We're looking for ambitious students to join our 2025 Off-cycle Internship Program within our Global Wealth Management business.
You'll get to:
- support the GFIW Business Risk Review & Risk Intelligence Team in analyzing complex client groups
- detect needs and implement solutions to improve existing processes or drive new ones
- contribute in ensuring our risk framework design and operation are effective to meet the 21st century challenges
- collaborate with different teams on strategic projects with a goal of improving our client experience and driving engagement
- build an understanding of our industry, culture, and strategy, while learning about how we operate to effectively meet the needs of our clients
- develop professionally by establishing a network of mentors and business contacts we believe are some of the best in the business
- attend educational events led by senior leaders that provide extensive exposure and insight into the business
You'll be working in our Global Wealth Management team in Zürich. We provide advice-based solutions to deliver products and services designed to address the needs of ultra-high net worth and high-net worth individuals and families. We've successfully built the number one wealth management franchise in the world. You'll work with the best talent in the industry, as we help manage, preserve and grow the wealth of our clients.
The Review & Risk Intelligence team is part of the global Business Risk Organization for GFIW (Global Family and Institutional Wealth). We are a dynamic team who uses innovative solutions to perform risk deep dives into the most complex clients of the bank across the world. We also give expert advice on various risk aspects allowing the business to best serve the bank's most sophisticated clients. People wise, the team regularly hosts interns and has an excellent track record in retaining talent in the bank after the end of the internship.
Your expertiseWe're looking for a candidate who:
- has completed at least 4 semesters of a bachelor's degree, and graduated no longer than six months ago (bachelor's or master's degree), preferably with a focus on business, finance, economics, STEM or similar
- has excellent English (written and oral), any other major language is a plus
- good communication skills, comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels
- an autonomous, diligent and detail-oriented work style
- good analytical skills with a fast understanding of complex processes
- a good command of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel and a fast learner when it comes to other IT software
- any programming language know-how is a plus (like VBA, R, Python)
- any know-how gained from experience (or internship) in Compliance, Risk Management or Legal roles is a plus
- has values that align with ours: hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated and collaborative
- is a strategic thinker with strong communication skills
- is motivated to work in a business with high demands and tight deadlines

Start Date: ASAP (upon agreement)
Your programThis paid internship will last 9 months. You'll work with our experts and learn about the industry, our clients and our firm. You'll be right at the heart of our business, learning from your colleagues, taking part in day-to-day operations. You'll be given mentors along the way and will have the chance to get to know some of the most senior members of our teams.
You'll have plenty of opportunities to develop new skills and make contacts along the way. If you like challenges, enjoy learning and want to work where no two days are the same, this program is for you.
If you have a successful internship, you may get an offer to return for our Graduate Talent Program after you've completed your studies.
