Die Professur Klinische Neuropsychologie erforscht die Zusammenhänge zwischen der Funktionsweise des Gehirns und menschlichem Denken, Erleben und Verhalten, idealerweise mit einem Fokus auf ältere Menschen. Mit ihrer exzellenten Forschung trägt die Professur massgeblich zu einem besseren Verständnis neurologischer und psychologischer Prozesse bei. Die Professur bringt die Erkenntnisse aus der Erforschung neuropsychologischer Störungsbilder in neue Diagnostik- und Evaluationsmethoden sowie innovative Präventions- und Therapieprogramme ein.
Mit 60% ihres Pensums forscht die Professur Klinische Neuropsychologie an der Fakultät für Psychologie und bietet Lehre im Bachelorstudium und Masterstudium an (Biologische Grundlagen, klinische Neuropsychologie und angrenzende Felder). Die Professur leistet durch Studien, Publikationen und Drittmitteleinwerbung einen wesentlichen Beitrag zur Profilierung des Forschungsschwerpunkts Health & Interventions. Mit ihrem Fokus auf die Klinische Neuropsychologie etabliert die Professur ein innovatives Forschungsprogramm, beispielsweise mit Blick auf die Entwicklungs-, Stress-, oder Entscheidungsneuropsychologie, und schafft Anknüpfungspunkte zu fakultären, universitären und regionalen Einheiten und Institutionen.
Mit 40% ihres Pensums übernimmt die Professur Klinische Neuropsychologie an der Universitären Altersmedizin Felix Platter eine Führungsfunktion innerhalb der Memory Clinic Basel. Sie ist insbesondere verantwortlich für die konzeptionelle und personelle Leitung der Psychologischen Dienste der Memory Clinic, zu denen beispielsweise die neuropsychologische Diagnostik und Therapie kognitiv beeinträchtigter Patient*innen gehören. Es besteht eine enge Zusammenarbeit mit dem ärztlichen Dienst, insbesondere mit der Professur für dementielle Erkrankungen.
Ihr Profil
Gesucht wird eine Persönlichkeit, die am Standort Basel neuropsychologische Forschung, Lehre und Patient*innenversorgung aufbauen und weiterentwickeln kann. Kandidat*innen haben einen universitärenAbschluss in Psychologie, ein abgeschlossenes Promotionsstudium und umfangreiche Forschungserfahrungin einem oder mehreren der oben skizzierten Bereiche der Klinischen Neuropsychologie. Kandidat*innen zeichnen sich durch ausgezeichnete internationale Publikationen aus und verfügen über Erfahrungen im Einwerben kompetitiver Drittmittel. Kandidat*innen haben auf dem Niveau Bachelor und/oder Master erfolgreich universitäre Lehrveranstaltungen gehalten und verfügen über Erfahrung in der klinischen Praxis. Erfahrungen in der Führung von Teams sind von Vorteil. Für die Patient*innenversorgung sind profunde Kenntnisse der deutschen Sprache erforderlich (Level C1).
Die Professur Klinische Neuropsychologie soll der Fakultät für Psychologie in Forschung und Lehre, sowie der Universitären Altersmedizin Felix Platter in der Versorgung von Patient*innen Entwicklungsmöglichkeiten bieten.
