Line & Ramp Services Agent (Hourly contract)

Location: Geneva, CH

Flexible Work Arrangement: Onsite

This position is responsible for serving the customer’s needs and the requirements of their aircraft in accordance with Jet Aviation policy and procedures by performing the duties listed below. (This position is an auxiliary contract, paid per hour).

Main Responsibilities
  1. Responsible for refueling and defueling all types of aircrafts on a daily basis, demonstrating knowledge of specific fueling requirements.
  2. Provide towing and disconnecting services for all types of aircraft.
  3. Execute hand signals in order to guide aircrafts during arrivals and departures.
  4. Provide service to aircrafts using ground support equipment, e.g. use of GPU for aircraft engine starts and ground power, use of lavatory cart and emptying procedures, etc.
  5. Communicate with employees and/or crew using radios in order to provide excellent customer service.
  6. Assist in providing aircraft with ice, coffee, catering and other necessary services.
  7. Provide transportation for customers and pilots to and from aircraft, hotels, restaurants and other parts of the airport with courtesy van or bus.
  8. Assist with aircraft and hangar cleaning, as needed.
  9. Assist with general grounds keeping (grass cutting, weeding, picking up paper and trash, general housekeeping, etc.).
Minimum Requirements
  1. Knowledge of refueling procedures of general aviation aircraft and corporate aircraft.
  2. Knowledge of towing procedures and techniques.
  3. High School Diploma/GED.
  4. Valid Driver’s License.
  5. Ability to read and communicate in English.
  6. Ability to work flexible schedules and in various weather conditions.

  1. Two years of related experience as a line service technician and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience strongly preferred.

  6. Performs duties in the supervisor’s absence.
  7. Have a pleasant, friendly, and helpful manner to deliver the best experience to customers and colleagues.
