Your mission
  • Server Management: Administration and maintenance of physical and virtual servers (Windows and Linux), ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
  • Infrastructure Monitoring: Set up and manage monitoring tools to track server health, performance, and capacity planning.
  • Cloud Infrastructure: Oversee cloud-based systems (e.g., AWS, Azure) and hybrid environments, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
  • Backup and Recovery: Develop and manage backup solutions to ensure data integrity and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Security Compliance: Implement and maintain server security policies, including regular updates, patches, and vulnerability assessments.
  • Automation: Design and implement automation scripts to streamline repetitive tasks and enhance efficiency.
  • System Upgrades: Plan and execute server upgrades, migrations, and new deployments.
  • Virtualization and Containerization: Manage and optimize virtualization environments (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and container platforms (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Documentation: Create and update comprehensive documentation for server configurations, procedures, and processes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams to support cross-functional initiatives and troubleshoot issues.

Your profile
  • A degree or vocational training in IT, computer science, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in server administration or a similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with server virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and containerization platforms (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Proficiency in managing both Linux and Windows server environments.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Strong knowledge of networking principles and protocols.
  • Excellent experience with monitoring tools and practices.
  • Experience with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, PowerShell, Bash).
  • Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English & French, optimally also sufficient in German.
