Engineering Technician

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of machinery and equipment in assigned areas, minimizing production times, in support of the personnel in charge.

Responsibilities include:

1. Track and improve product yields.
2. Assist in implementing fixtures and Poka Yokes.
3. Help implement corrective actions.
4. Maintain production line start-ups.
5. Generate preventive maintenance programs.
6. Support in training employees on current and new machinery.
7. Support with quotation requests.
8. Follow applicable QMS Procedures and Instructions.
9. Follow AMETEK's Safety, Environmental, Hygiene, and Security Procedures.

Experience & Skills:

1. Mechanical/electromechanical technician preferred.
2. Basic English preferred.
3. Knowledge of electric motor assembly manufacturing processes.
4. Handling of manufacturing machines (pneumatic presses).
5. Experience and knowledge in the handling of measuring equipment (Vernier, Micrometers).
6. Basic computer knowledge preferably.
7. 1 year of experience in a similar position.
8. Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Standard preferred.
