Our client, a key player in the industry, is looking for a Material Planner to support manufacturing planning for both clinical and commercial programs at their site, while collaborating with Manufacturing, Warehouse, Scheduling, Quality, and Procurement areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for raw materials planning and inventory control activities.
  • Supports new item creation process and Master Data enrichment as required.
  • Responsible for reviewing process and raw material vendor change notifications for inventory impact and facilitation of cross-functional discussions.
  • Analyzes data and creates the Expired and Obsolete report.
  • Supports tech transfers and the development/maintenance of manufacturing bills of materials.
  • Ensures that raw materials are procured and on-hand to support the manufacturing schedule.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical/Biochemical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related fields; or High School Diploma with relevant years of experience.
  • Two years experience in pharma material planning, or supply chain experience in a GMP regulated industry.
  • Solid knowledge of planning in a GMP manufacturing facility.
  • Manufacturing proficient use of ERP systems, ideally Oracle, and TrackWise.
  • Solid understanding of basic QA and cGMP principles.
