ABOUT THE ROLE


Do you have an advanced level of knowledge of various coding methodologies, practices and tools? Are you an experienced Fullstack Developer with expertise in banking area and excellent communication and problem-solving skills?
If so, we are looking for someone just like you to join us in Zürich. The role requires a mix of remote and on-site work in a hybrid model.
You will be part of a dynamic team, currently focusing on couple of key initiatives like building the new ReactJS based UI, integrating it with backend, key business functionality implementation and transforming application to be cloud ready.

Responsibilities

  1. Actively contribute to transform the application to adopt the new UI tech stack with REST endpoint implementation
  2. Deliver features end-to-end and take ownership for developed components
  3. Implement new business requirements
  4. Contribute to decision making process of new architecture patterns for the application
  5. Work together with business stakeholders about the status of development and take feedbacks from them

Requirements

  1. Ideally 7+ years of work experience in developing JAVA/JEE based web application at enterprise level
  2. 3+ years of hands-on experience in implementing REST APIs
  3. Experience in Spring 3.x+ modules like Core, MVC, Security, JDBC & JPA
  4. Good understanding of RDBMS like Oracle, PostgreSQL
  5. Good understanding of ReactJs (or Angular), JavaScript, Servlet
  6. Fair understanding on UNIX system
  7. Exposure to GIT, Junit, Sonar, conceptual knowledge of CI/CD
  8. Experience of Agile Methodology
  9. Fluent English skill is a must, German language skill is a significant advantage

Nice to have

  1. Public cloud exposure like Azure, AWS
  2. Microservice architecture pattern experience
  3. Concept knowledge of containerized (Docker) application development and deployment
  4. Kubernetes knowledge
