We are currently on the lookout for an experienced IT Senior System Engineer (m / f / d) for a major client in Zürich.

Responsibilities:

In this exciting role you will work in the planning, implementation, and management of IT infrastructure projects and take over the responsibility for the following tasks:

• Creation of technical specifications in collaboration with the client
• Engineering of digital solutions, on a diverse technology set (VMware, container, on-prem or Cloud)
• Automation of new and existing processes (IaC / DevOps)
• Planning and realization of IT infrastructure projects in close cooperation with other IT and business departments
• Creation of technical concepts and documentation

Requirements:

For this role we are seeking an experienced IT System Engineer (m / f) with the following skills:

• Higher education in IT or similar
• Min. 4 years of experience as an IT System Engineer
• Extensive knowledge of Windows engineering
• Excellent experience in automation (Infrastructure as Code), planning and implementation of modern IT projects
• Experience with container infrastructures
• Experience working with cloud technologies (Azure / AWS)
• Understanding of business requirements in a complex IT environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills as well as an independent work ethic
• Fluent in English, German is an advantage
