The Detection and Signaling product line offers state‑of‑the‑art detectors, signaling and supplemental products that safeguard life, health and assets across the global fire safety ecosystem. We are looking for a Product Manager to drive the further development of this segment’s vision and strategy. You will maintain the existing product portfolio and collaborate closely with engineering, developers, product managers and our esteemed customers to identify and define the requirements for new products that will drive future growth. You will assume full responsibility for the entire product lifecycle – from definition and development to support and end‑of‑life planning. This role demands market analysis, strategic planning and product development expertise. Join us to shape a more prosperous future. Location This role is based in Zug, Switzerland. Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Switzerland. Key Responsibilities Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle, including product strategy, roadmap development, new product definition based on customer needs, launch support, product family management to maximize profitability, and discontinuation planning. Product Specification: Collaborate with stakeholders (customers, engineering teams, external partners) to define and prioritise product requirements, ensuring new features address pain points, enhance user experience and meet compliance standards and regulations. Product Maintenance: Maintain and enhance existing products to remain competitive and address customer issues. Market Research: Conduct comprehensive market research to understand current customer needs, market and regulatory trends, competitive dynamics; identify enhancement opportunities and produce detailed competitive analysis. Product Launch: Develop marketing strategies, coordinate sales teams and manage promotional activities to ensure successful product introductions. Align all stakeholders and provide support for a seamless launch. Financial Analysis: Perform regular portfolio analysis to assess performance, identify innovation opportunities and ensure alignment with business strategy. Required Qualifications University degree or higher in engineering, business engineering or a related field. 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in a B2B environment. Strong understanding of business economics and financials with a long‑term strategic mindset. Experience in the fire safety industry or related building‑management systems/services is highly valued. Familiarity with lean/agile development methodologies (e.g., SAFe) is advantageous. Resilience in challenging situations, a structured analytical approach and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in English; knowledge of German and other European languages is an added advantage. Employee Benefits 2–3 days per week of mobile working. Access to employee share programs.
