Our passionate interdisciplinary team of 10+ people is dedicated to empowering legal professionals in law firms and insurance companies by leveraging AI for legal research and answering complex legal questions.As a Design Engineer, your primary focus will be on improving our UI/UX for our customers, both proposing ideas and implementing them. This includes:Build elegant, reusable UI with Nextjs, React, TypeScript, and CSSRaise the visual and interaction quality across the productPrototype and explore new interaction patternsAdd motion and micro-interactions that bring interfaces to lifeCollect and analyse feedback from our users, as well as competitive research to similar tools in the marketMinimum qualificationsStrong experience with React, TypeScript, and modern CSSDeep interest in UI design, motion, and detailA portfolio that shows taste, craft, and interaction thinkingCuriosity about how AI changes the way people interact with softwareAvailability full-time, 80% or less may also be considered for exceptional candidatesOn-site in Zurich at least one day per weekPreferred qualificationsYou have a Swiss work permit or EU/EFTA CitizenshipExperience in prototyping with tools like Figma or othersExperience with animating svg graphics tools like Rive or othersGerman-speaking (for customer interviews and feedback)Take leadership and ownership over the design positioning of the product and become a critical member of the team as the company grows.Work with a young, energetic, and diverse team of engineers, business people and legal professionals.We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all qualified candidates. #J-18808-Ljbffr
