Position: Partner & Head of LitigationLocation: ZurichWorkload: 100% full-timeJob objectiveThe Partner & Head of Litigation is responsible for leading the firm’s dispute resolution and litigation practice, providing strategic counsel and high-level representation to national and international clients in complex commercial, civil, and regulatory disputes.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement litigation strategies tailored to the commercial, regulatory, and reputational objectives of the clientManage and oversee complex civil and commercial litigation, including cross-border disputes and high-value claimsRepresent clients in a wide range of disputes, including:✓ Civil and commercial disputes, including contract enforcement and shareholder conflicts✓ Capital markets litigation, including prospectus liability, securities fraud, and investor litigation✓ Banking and stock exchange disputes, including regulatory enforcement and transactional disputes✓ Regulatory and compliance-related disputes with Swiss and international authorities✓ Contractual disputes involving breach of obligations, warranties, and indemnities✓ Arbitration and mediation proceedings, both domestic and internationalRepresent clients before Swiss courts, international arbitral tribunals, and regulatory bodiesLead and further develop the litigation and dispute resolution practice of the firmCultivate and expand long-term client relationships through high-quality service and proactive engagementDevelop business development strategies, contribute to thought leadership (e.g. articles, webinars, events), and represent the firm at industry conferencesMentor and supervise junior lawyers and associates, promoting professional development and knowledge sharingEnsure compliance with internal quality standards, billing targets, and operational goalsRequirementsEducation:Swiss bar admission and first-class qualificationExcellent academic credentials in law (Master’s degree / PhD)Additional studies in business law or financial lawProfessional experience:10 + years of proven work experience as a lawyer, preferably in a Partner role in a law firm, auditing firm, or senior level in-house legal department of bank or asset management companiesLanguages:Stylistically confident, appropriate English and GermanAdditional languages (e.g. French, Italian) are an assetCognitive and analytical skillsStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-first mentalityHigh level of integrity, professional credibility, and discretionResults-oriented, proactive, and resilient under pressureCharismatic and confident, with the ability to represent the firm at conferences and industry forumsCollaborative team player with an inclusive leadership styleEstablished client network and ability to attract new mandates (existing book of business is a strong plus)Entrepreneurial mindset with the capability to build and growProven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of legal professionalsExperience in internal knowledge sharing, thought leadership, and promoting best practicesWhat we offer to PartnersEntrepreneurial approach: Build and lead your practice — with full strategic autonomy.
