Manager / Associate Partner (Wirtschaftsprüfer) - USA (f/m/x)

In this unique opportunity, we are looking for an individual who is looking for an international career step, specifically in USA.

You will join our clients office in Zurich for the first year, to then relocate to their business in the U.S, ideally to Chicago but you will be able to choose any of their 7 locations across the US. Relocation and the VISA process costs will be covered and you will received all the training you need to succeed.

Our client is a niched boutique in the financial consulting sector.

To grow their team further, they are looking for Swiss Certified Public Accountant. In this role you will be part of continuing to grow their Swiss operations for the US market. You will have the chance to continue to build their Swiss business, working with Swiss clients and getting all the training you need to succeed.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Working closely with Swiss clients doing business in the U.S in a variety of interesting projects
  • Act as first contact for internationally oriented middle market client base
  • Management of audit teams, with audit/review of annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP, SWISS GAAP and IFRS
  • Cooperation with tax consultants and other team members
  • Development to expand Swiss client base in the U.S

What you bring technically:

  • Successfully completed degree in Business Management, Economics or similar field of study
  • Finalized the Swiss CPA (Wirtschaftsprüfer) is a must have
  • Experience in assurance services
  • Full fluency in German and English
  • Strong knowledge of Swissgaap (Obligationenrecht) and international accounting (IFRS/US GAAP), additional training will be provided
