OverviewOur client is conducting a business-critical migration to Oracle Exadata and Exadata Cloud@Customer (ExaCC), involving mission-critical databases with strict high-availability and performance requirements. This transformation directly affects production environments where any delay creates operational and financial risk.As the Lead Technical Architect Delivery Owner, you will oversee the full lifecycle of the Exadata/ExaCC deployment and database migration program.ResponsibilitiesDesign the target architecture for Exadata and ExaCC.Develop IaC modules and automation frameworks.Build detailed migration strategies and execution plans.Integrate and configure Exadata hardware.Apply performance benchmarking and validation tests.Coordinate with Oracle support teams for readiness checks.Migration Execution: Lead wave-based migrations with controlled downtime.Oversee Oracle DB upgrades, replication, and HA mechanisms.Provide on-call and hypercare support.Transfer knowledge to internal operations teams.Validate operational readiness and finalize documentation.You will maintain full ownership of technical delivery, risk mitigation, and timeline adherence, collaborating closely with infrastructure teams, DB engineers, and Oracle support.Exadata ExaCC Platform ExpertiseProven experience with X9M/X10M sizing, deployment lifecycle management.Strong command of hybrid ExaCC operations (on-prem + OCI control plane).Expertise in performance optimization: Smart Scan, Storage Indexes, HCC.Proficiency in VM Domains, CDB/PDB design configurations.Mastery of diagnostic tools: cellcli, dcli, AWR/ASH, Exadata tooling.Hands-on experience with DB Cloud Service, Autonomous DB OCI Compute.Strong understanding of IAM, encryption (Vault), and security zones.Monitoring observability through OCI Logging, Monitoring alerts.Database Migrations High AvailabilityAbility to deliver low-downtime.Strong RAC and Data Guard (Physical/Logical/Far Sync) expertise.Experience with ZDLRA multi-node quorum (OCR, Voting Disks).Infrastructure as Code AutomationAnsible for configuration automation operational orchestration.CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI, Jenkins, OCI DevOps.Knowledge of immutable infra, state drift, versioning models.Linux Systems AdministrationKernel tuning, LVM, multipathing, ASMLib configuration.System performance tuning and capacity planning.Mandatory certificationsOracle DBA Certified Professional (12c/19c or later).Experience with large-scale enterprise migrations in regulated or high-availability environments.Hands-on knowledge of Zero Data Loss architectures and recovery appliances.Familiarity with automation-driven operational models (GitOps, DevOps).Strong documentation, reporting, and stakeholder communication skills.Ability to operate under pressure, manage critical incidents, and lead escalations.Previous work with multi-region or hybrid deployments involving OCI.Exposure to cloud modernization projects beyond Oracle technologies.By submitting your resume, you agree to the retention and use of your personal data by TSG for recruitment purposes, including sharing with our clients in the context of your application.Job detailsSeniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: ContractJob function: Information TechnologyIndustries: IT Services and IT Consulting #J-18808-Ljbffr
