We’re looking for back end engineers to: provide technology solutions that will solve business problems and strengthen our position as digital leaders in financial services design, plan and deliver sustainable solutions using modern programming languages and tooling provide technical expertise and recommendations in assessing new software projects and initiatives to support and enhance our existing applications conduct code reviews and test software as needed, along with participating in application architecture and design and other phases of SDLC Your team You’ll be working in the Wealth Management Trade and Transfer Assets stream, as part of the Technology division in Hong Kong, Singapore or Zürich. You will be joining a team that prides itself on care for its users and their experience, providing next generation trading tools covering multiple asset classes across international locations. This is a senior engineering appointment, and as such you’ll play an important role in improving the architecture of our applications, development of tooling, pipelines and development workflow, and reinforcement of coding quality. Your expertise possess more than 15 years of experience working in similar role, with extensive experience focused on building and testing complex applications experience leading and mentoring other senior engineers, defining software architecture, and supporting teams to execute complex goals with exceptional quality and agility expert level knowledge in backend technologies (including Java or Kotlin) expertise in CI/CD pipelines, tooling and deployment (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes and Gitlab) ability to design, plan and deliver solutions in a large-scale enterprise environment that adhere to security, compliance, reliability and operational standards ability to mentor other engineers, develop their skills and nurture their careers, growing the next generation of software engineers for the UBS About us UBS is the world’s largest and the only truly global wealth manager.
