Strategic Procurement Manager

Job Overview We are a world‑leading Engine MRO service provider headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland, with over 90 years of experience. Our mission is “We safely power your flight.” This role as a Strategic Procurement Manager will actively contribute to the formulation, execution, and evolution of procurement strategies related to sourcing, contracting, and maintaining the best supply sources for our operations. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize total cost of ownership, quality, and delivery performance. Negotiate and manage supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with policies, regulations, and best practices. Analyze spend data and market trends to identify opportunities, drive sourcing initiatives, and recommend agreements. Resolve supplier disputes and contract issues through strong negotiation and problem‑solving skills. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align procurement initiatives and support business objectives. Monitor supplier performance via financial reviews, product quality checks, and customer feedback. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, or economics; additional Supply Chain/Purchasing education preferred. Strong experience in Purchasing/Supply Chain, sourcing & contracting; technical/aviation sector background valued. Project‑management, communication, analytical thinking, problem‑solving, relationship management, and teamwork skills. Proficiency in databases; language skills – German (B2) and English (C1).
