What do we do?

Born in 2021 from the desire to make cities less polluted and less noisy, Electra is helping to shift usage towards electric mobility by tackling the main obstacle of recharging. Electra is constantly innovating to facilitate the recharging of electric vehicles with a network of fast recharging hubs (15 to 30 minutes maximum) and a user experience simplified to the maximum.

Based in Paris, Lyon, Brussels, Milan, Zurich, Vienna, Madrid, Munich, and Amsterdam, Electra's teams aim to deploy a network of 14,500 charging points by 2030; proud to participate in the energy transition in France and Europe. For cities without noise and pollution

Your mission

As part of our ambitious plan to build 100 charging stations in Switzerland by the end of 2026, we are looking for an intern to support in coordinating the development and implementation of our Electra fast charging stations from A to Z.

By joining Electra Switzerland now, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the market expansion of a young company in a booming industry while benefiting from the support and experience of our Electra HQ in France.

Your role

  • Work closely with the Electra Operations team and external stakeholders to ensure the stations are up and running as soon as possible.

  • Be responsible for organising and implementing the various project milestones together with the Project Manager.

  • Mobilise and coordinate our installation partners and generally ensure the overall project management for the installation of an Electra charging station.

  • Support the management of multiple projects simultaneously by keeping track of each partner’s task, budget, resources, risks, and key objectives.

  • Ensure a smooth process with all parties involved: customers, grid operators, engineering companies, installation partners, local authorities, etc.

Your profile

  • You are currently enrolled or have a bachelor’s degree in civil/electrical engineering or related field; first practical experience is a plus.

  • You are analytical, thorough, and proactive.

  • You are autonomous, organised, and have a strong team spirit.

  • You have a desire to develop and learn in a fast-growing start-up.

  • You are fluent in (Swiss) German and English; French is a plus.

  • You are interested in current energy/environmental topics with a passion for electromobility.

  • You are available to start in March 2025.
