Head of Sales - RX Pharmaceuticals

Location: Switzerland

The Head of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy for the RX portfolio. The ideal candidate will also have experience in product launches, particularly in biologics, as the company prepares for a launch in 2025. This role requires fluency in both German and English and residency in Switzerland. You will be managing a team of three Key Account Managers to ensure the successful commercialization of our product.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage BAU accounts whilst working on new product launch materials and training.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive the successful launch and growth of the new biologic product.
  • Lead, manage, and motivate a team of three Key Account Managers to achieve sales targets and objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, medical affairs, regulatory, and market access, to align sales efforts with overall launch objectives.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify key insights, trends, and opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements related to pharmaceutical sales.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance sales effectiveness and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Extensive experience in sales management within the pharmaceutical industry, specifically with RX.
  • Background in dermatology is highly desirable.
  • Fluency in both German and English is mandatory.
  • Residency in Switzerland is required.
  • Proven experience in managing and leading a sales team.
  • Strong strategic thinking, project management, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
