Software Test and Integration Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Software Test and Integration Engineer to join our international digital team. This team is dedicated to the design and development of the WinGD Integrated Digital Expert (WiDE) product. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in system integration technologies and have a strong background in software testing methodologies. This role requires familiarity with software testing methodologies, AWS services, and the ability to handle time series data and logs. The candidate should be a team player and self-starter, committed to delivering high-quality results in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and set up the overall system test methodologies and platform, including both hardware and software.
  2. Create detailed design documents and integration plans that outline the specifications and requirements for system integration.
  3. Develop and execute test plans and detailed test cases based on requirements and/or customer feedback.
  4. Document all integration processes, test plans, test cases, and results.
  5. Manage and prioritize testing efforts across system and subcomponents within project delivery timelines.
  6. Manage the test rig.
  7. Ensure that the overall system complies with relevant industry standards and regulations, and apply best practices for data security, system reliability, and scalability.
  8. Provide technical support, assisting with troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Experience:
    • Familiar with IoT software integration and test methodologies.
    • At least 3+ years of testing and quality assurance experience in Agile Development environments.
    • Familiar with test rig setup and management.
    • Experience handling time series data and logs.
  2. Technical Skills:
    • Familiar with Industry IoT solutions or monitoring systems with integration with control systems.
    • Familiar with AWS and cloud services.
    • Experience with manual and test automation tools.
    • Knowledge of system interfaces, protocols, and standards (e.g., API, Modbus, OPC, MQTT).
    • Experience with network troubleshooting and analysis tools.
    • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Docker).
    • Knowledge of general data acquisition, pipelines, and storage.
    • Ability to write test automation with Python or scripting languages.
    • Familiarity with Linux.
    • Familiarity with SQL database queries.
  3. Soft Skills:
    • A team player and self-starter who will work side by side with the development team.
    • Commitment to delivery and providing high-quality results.
    • Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks, and quickly adjust in a rapidly changing environment.
    • Clear communication skills in English, both speaking and writing.
  4. Education:
    • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
