For one of our clients in the watchmaking industry, we are looking for a Senior Inventory Analyst (m/w). The role is a permanent contract based in La Chaux-de-Fonds.

Your responsibilities:

• Overseeing all aspects of inventory management such as:
  • Monitoring inventory levels
  • Analyzing data to forecast demand
  • Coordinating with supply chain and sales team
  • Implementing strategies to optimize inventory turnover and minimize costs
• Optimize inventory levels and accuracy by developing and implementing inventory control procedures and strategies.
• Improve inventory efficiency by analyzing inventory data and trends; identifying areas of improvement, such as minimizing out of collection or excess inventory.
• Estimate future inventory requirements based on historical data, sales forecasts, and industry trends.
• Management/review of purchase orders in accordance with well-defined specifications and production plan.
• Manage regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations to ensure inventory accuracy.

Your profile:

• 5 to 10 years' of experience in a similar role within the FMCG, Lifestyle and/or Luxury industry.
• Experience of working in a regional or global headquarters and across international affiliates.
• High social competence and drive to work on senior level with senior leaders.
• Able to work very independently and with high motivation.
• Resilience, determination, accuracy and reliability.
• Intellectually sharp with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good level of communication skills in English and French.
