Minimum Requirements- HES/EPFL Graduate in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- At least 5 years of experience as a systems engineer
- Expertise in the following technologies: HPC Scheduling (Slurm), HPC technologies (NVIDIA, CUDA, hardware topology), Automation (Ansible)
- Good knowledge of the following technologies: Linux, Git, installation of open-source software, Virtualization (Proxmox, KVM), Containers (Docker, Apptainer), Networking, Data Center Infrastructure
- Detail-oriented, pragmatic, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to communicate complex research environments clearly
- Fluent in both French and English, with excellent oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of research environments
- Strong interest in open-source technologies
- Experience with Kubernetes environments (OpenShift) and related technologies
- Experience with academic cloud environments (e.g., CSCS)
- Network and storage performance optimization
- Proficiency in scripting, Python, Conda environments, and an interest in development
- Strong writing skills for documentation (Markdown)
- Excellent listening skills and a collaborative mindset
