We’re looking for a copywriting and marketing pro at the highest levels. It’s not a boring Content Marketing Manager we’re after. No vanilla here. If you can take full ownership of BlueThrone’s content strategy, from email campaigns and social media to in-app promotions and employer branding, and CREATE RESULTS - you’re interesting for us.

It’s combining creative thinking, real-world direct response copywriting experience with data-driven decision-making to deliver high-impact content that elevates our brand and drives engagement, actions, and revenue across platforms.
If you’re a killer direct response copywriter and capable of managing cross-platform marketing operations and people (video, SEO, etc.) and want to grow and move the needle in the tech world, who knows, we might be an awesome fit.
What You’ll Be Doing- Move the needle: Full ownership of content creation and management for BlueThrone, including email marketing, reports, dashboards, website, and LinkedIn content.
- Develop and manage email marketing for our b2c mobile apps (apps serve different personas).
- Collaborate with SEO experts to optimize web performance.
- Strategically research and create brand awareness across relevant media and communities and meaningful connections.
- Write compelling newsletters (3x weekly) to engage indie app developers.
- Create daily posts/week for BlueThrone’s LinkedIn page, maintaining a strong brand voice.
- Develop weekly email marketing campaigns for our big apps (3X).
- Support the People Team in crafting Employer Branding content, including weekly nurture campaigns and culture-driven materials.
- 5+ years HANDS ON experience in Direct Response marketing/copywriting, with a focus on email marketing content creation and management.
- Proven expertise in copywriting and storytelling.
- Strategic thinker and tactical doer with an obsession for persuasion.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Fluent/Native English; fluency in additional languages (e.g., Spanish, German) is a plus.
- Experience in remote, multicultural teams is highly valued.
- Proactive Problem-Solving: Ability to independently identify and pursue new growth opportunities.
- Communication: Strong verbal and visual skills to convey insights effectively.
- Detail-Oriented: Precision in experiment design, execution, and analysis.
- Systematic Thinking: A structured and logical approach to testing and decision-making.
- Toughness and Resilience: Confidence to handle ambiguous or negative results and iterate rapidly.
You’ve converted millions of email readers into buyers in the consumer space, whether digital products, e-commerce, or consumer apps. You’ve studied direct response copywriting and marketing unofficially and built yourself from zero to hero somewhere on the internet.

Portfolio Review: After successfully completing your application review, you’ll receive an email requesting your portfolio. Please share examples such as email sequences, social posts, blogs, or landing pages to help us better understand your expertise.
- First Round: A 30-minute chat with our Marketing Manager to explore cultural fit and your basic qualifications.
- Second Round: A 1-hour live challenge with the Marketing Manager and Head of People or Strategy & Analytics to assess your role fit and expertise.
- Challenge: Complete a 3-5 day take-home task to showcase your strategic thinking and creativity (e.g., app promotion email, nurture campaign email, LinkedIn post).
- Final Round: A 45-minute discussion with our CGO and Co-Founder to review your challenge and align on vision.
