Mid-/Senior Symfony Back-End Software Developer (50-100%)

Software Development

In this exciting role you will be responsible for the following tasks:

Back-end Development
  • Participate in a skilled development team focused on internal applications and Sylius-based e-commerce solutions
  • Support in the conception and development of web-based applications, with involvement in native mobile apps as a bonus
  • Be part of implementing new features from scratch
  • Extend and enhance existing applications to meet evolving business requirements
  • Implement backend solutions using PHP, Symfony, and Sylius
  • Employ advanced development methodologies like TDD, DDD, and event-driven development as a nice to have.
Your Profile
  • Several years of professional experience as a back-end developer, ideally with Symfony and Sylius.
  • Mid- to Senior knowledge of PHP and Symfony (5 years +).
  • Familiarity with Sylius or similar e-commerce platforms is a big plus.
  • Understanding of database technologies like MySQL or PostgreSQL as well as RabbitMQ
  • Experience with building and using APIs
  • Proficiency in working with version control systems, especially GitLab.
  • Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex technical challenges.
  • Enjoy working in a dynamic, agile team environment and collaborating effectively with colleagues.
  • Flexibility to work on multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to evolving business priorities.
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken. German or French is a bonus but not required.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for technology, programming, and learning new skills.
