About Our Client Our client is a large organization within the FMCG industry that specializes in delivering innovative and high-quality products in Zurich. They pride themselves on fostering a professional and collaborative environment to drive excellence in their field. This temporary position with start in December for 6 months is based in Zurich and requires a detail-oriented professional with expertise in product development and design processes. Hybrid working model (3 days onsite, 2 day HO). There is a take-over perspective. Job Description The successful candidate will be involved in the development of high-quality fashion accessories. The main responsibilities are as follows: Coordinating the product development process for fashion accessories from concept to production. Collaborating with design, production, and supply chain teams to ensure timely project delivery. Conducting market research to identify trends and integrating them into product designs. Evaluating and selecting materials, ensuring compliance with quality and sustainability standards. Maintaining detailed documentation of product specifications and development progress. Overseeing sample creation and providing feedback for improvements. Communicating with external vendors and suppliers to ensure smooth production processes. Supporting the team in identifying cost-effective solutions without compromising quality. The Successful Applicant The successful candidate should have: Educational background in product design or development, or related fields. Minimum 4 years experience in product development of accessories (e.g. bags, headwear, gloves, socks, and small soft goods) or apparel Strong understanding of the FMCG and fashion industries. Experience in managing product lifecycles and coordinating with cross-functional teams. Project management skills are an advantage. Proficiency in relevant design tools and software. Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage. Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
