Your Mission:

We are looking for a highly skilled network engineer specialised in SD-WAN and Network security Solutions for the enterprise market. As a member of a new dedicated team, you will be responsible in a first phase to set up and validate the solution, develop the necessary interfaces to facilitate the provisioning of customer services, and work with the team to set up all the processes involved in delivering and operating the associated services. Then in a second phase, you will collaborate with other network teams to ensure the seamless integration of the enterprise solution in existing network infrastructure and provide support during pre-sales and post-sales phases.

Your Duties:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand B2B customer requirements and design scalable and efficient network solutions.
  • Liaise with vendors to identify solutions meeting customer requirements and technical constraints.
  • Provide support in commercial discussions with vendors.
  • Develop detailed designs, considering factors such as security, performance, and scalability.
  • Deploy and configure network hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking devices.
  • Develop or implement API interfaces to facilitate the provisioning of network service in various management systems.
  • Establish and maintain network monitoring tools to proactively identify and address performance issues.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex network problems promptly to minimize downtime and disruptions for B2B customers.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including pre-sales and post-sales support, to understand customer requirements and provide technical expertise at different stages of the customer life cycle.
  • Communicate effectively with B2B customers, explaining technical solutions and providing guidance on optimizing network performance.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for network configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Keep documentation up-to-date to facilitate knowledge sharing and future maintenance.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience with a minimum of 10 years as a Network Engineer in Telco or enterprise business.
  • Strong knowledge of IP networking protocols, SD-WAN technology security principles, and best practices.
  • Proven track record in architecting and implementing SD-WAN network and security solutions as well as routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
  • Knowledge and certifications on Fortinet and Cisco technologies.
  • Knowledge of advanced security concepts like SASE.
  • Knowledge of IT server infrastructure, cloud platforms, networking, security, and database systems.
  • Familiarity with API integration, especially REST and SOAP.
  • Familiarity with Python programming language and scripting languages.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Very good oral and written communication in English. French and German are a plus.
