Our client, a challenger bank, is strengthening its Commodities Trading division and is seeking a highly skilled and ambitious Director-Level Commodities Exotics Trader to lead and enhance their Commodities Exotics desk.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Exotic Commodities Trading: Execute and optimise trades in exotic commodities markets, leveraging advanced financial instruments and market insights.
  • Strategy Development: Design and implement bespoke trading strategies tailored to meet complex client needs and dynamic market conditions.
  • Market Leadership: Provide expert insights and drive innovation to maintain a competitive edge in commodities exotics.
  • Client Solutions: Collaborate closely with internal teams and clients to deliver tailored risk management and hedging solutions.
Key Requirements:
  • Deep Commodities Expertise: Proven track record in exotic commodities trading with a strong understanding of derivative structures, pricing models, and risk management.
  • Product Proficiency: Familiarity with products such as Commodity Swaps, Options, Exotics (e.g., Asian Options, Barrier Options), and Structured Products.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead trading strategies, mentor junior team members, and deliver exceptional P&L results.
  • Market Knowledge: Strong grasp of global commodities markets, regulatory frameworks, and emerging trends.
