German Teacher

German Teacher - Middle School, full time from August 2025

Applicants should have at least 2-3 years of experience teaching German as a foreign language and/or German as a fluent language at the middle school level (grades 6 - 8), preferably in an international school setting. Teaching certification is required and applicants must show evidence of:

1. Native/C2 German
2. Teaching license including specialism
3. Documented record of excellence in teaching
4. BA / BSC or equivalent university degree
5. Understanding of Middle School philosophy and best practice
6. Integration of technology into curriculum
7. Inquiry based pedagogical approach
8. Commitment to ongoing professional development
9. Ability to differentiate for diverse learning needs
10. Good knowledge of written and spoken English
11. Experience using digital technology to support student learning
12. Commitment to teamwork, collaboration, and active participation in school life

Very desirable to have:

1. EDK teaching status recognition for Zurich
2. Experience working in an International School context

Salary Range: Per Month
