Compliance Verification Engineer, Stans

TOM PARKER is a Swiss Recruiting Agency for sourcing and recruiting leading personnel and professionals in Supply Chain, Engineering and Industrial fields.
We are currently looking for a Compliance Verification Engineer (m/w/d), for one of our Clients in the central part of Switzerland.
Tasks:
- Communicate, co-operate and conduct technical discussions with Airworthiness Authorities
- Support to define certification basis of a new/changes of Type Design
- Revise, approve and verify engineering documentation, manuals and Service Reports to comply with the applicable regulations (EASA Part 21 and CS/FAR/JAR 23)
- Classify Changes to Type Design into minor or major, and approve minor changes
- Support in the analysis and interpretation of the airworthiness requirements
- Assist in establishing the compliance methodology guidelines and issuing Special necessary related Conditions
- Observe and witness certification (including qualification) testing
Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in a related engineering discipline, from an accredited institution
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the aerospace industry with knowledge of most of the following:
- Software certification (RTCA DO-178B), Complex electronic hardware certification (RTCA DO-254, ED-203A/DO356A and ED-204A/DO-355A), Addressing airworthiness security during the aircraft product life cycle from project initiation including operation and maintenance of aircraft Avionic systems, system design & development (ARP 4754), Safety assessment (SAE 4754/4761), EM HIRF and Lightning (RTCA DO-160D), ED-202A/DO-326A, Flight test and continued airworthiness
- Working knowledge and experience of civil certifications in the field of Electrical Systems, Avionic & Software
- Knowledge of EASA part 21 requirements
- Knowledge of operational requirements (e.g., JA OPS-1, CNS/ATM Roadmap) is advantageous
