Tasks- Produce new or upgraded equipment and robots including areas of wiring, power distribution, controls, motors, and lasers.
- Installation, inspection, calibration, repair, and maintenance of equipment.
- Assemble electrical and mechanical components.
- Document work performed including test data.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Complete maintenance and repair logs.
- Perform safety audits.
- Communicate with Production Lead on any unusual problems encountered or for any technical assistance needed.
- Resolve assembly problems that may require altering dimensions or tolerances.
- Experience in assembling and manufacturing industrial robots or electro-mechanical equipment.
- Technical degree or CFC in electromechanics/automation.
- Clear understanding of basic electrical principles.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to complete work orders following the proper procedure.
- Proven self-starter able to work autonomously and in a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality and safety. Fluent in French with a good understanding of English is a plus.
