Application Consultant BI

Founded in 1968 as a trading company for Scandinavian laboratory equipment, SKAN is now a global market leader in the specialist area of isolator construction for aseptic applications. One of our core competencies is the manufacture of process isolators for pharmaceutical-aseptic production. Even the most complex customer requirements can be fulfilled thanks to the experts at our in-house laboratories who research innovative solutions for isolator technology.

As a consultant in the BI environment, you will be the contact person in Michael Palmer's team for projects and 2nd/3rd level support for the further development and use of our BI solution. As part of our internal consulting team, you will be responsible for the functional and technical field of application of the software and accompany the further development of the solutions in the context of SAP S/4HANA and the DWH/BI environment with Microsoft Power BI and SQL Server Integration Services. The diverse and competent team is already looking forward to your support.

1. Operation and further development of systems with Microsoft Power BI, SQL Server and Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
2. Support and administration of the SAP Theobald Connector
3. Integration of these systems with SAP S/4HANA ERP & other applications
4. Analysing complex interrelationships and being able to express them in words (business requirements engineering)
5. (Partial) project management in innovation projects, rollouts and introduction of further systems
6. Taking over support activities and change management
7. Carrying out basic and advanced training for our employees
8. Managing external partners in support and project work

1. University/university degree in computer science/business informatics or a comparable qualification
2. Several years of professional experience in the field of application engineering
3. Very good knowledge of Power BI, SQL Server Management Studio, Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Theobald Connector, SAP S/4HANA
4. SAP knowledge (SAP Standard Connectors) is an advantage
5. Knowledge/experience in finance (controlling, accounting, sales) is an advantage
6. Business fluent in German and English
