About this opportunity
As Country Manager and KAM for Switzerland, the successful candidate will represent the company internally and externally and will be responsible for the legal management of Ericsson Switzerland. Operating in an international matrix organization, this role involves close collaboration with the committees, holding all mandatory meetings with the respective stakeholders and ensuring legal governance. The role will also be responsible for carrying out regular reviews and steering to ensure the compliant operation of the organization. The new Country Manager and KAM Switzerland will be responsible for providing the necessary guidance. Ericsson Switzerland currently has approx. 170 employees with 30 nationalities. Ericsson has a stable business in Switzerland and still a broad range of opportunities to grow further with Operations and in the Mission Critical Networks area.

What you will do
In addition to the responsibility as Country Manager, you will also assume the role of Key Account Manager (KAM) Switzerland, including key customers like Swisscom, Sunrise, and SBB. Establishing a strong collaboration and driving customer happiness is key to success. With a deep understanding of the customer business, long-term objectives, and potential growth areas, you will act in full authority to develop the business relationships. Clear communication on Ericsson's portfolio, innovation, and outstanding excellence, linking this to our key customers, will positively enhance the relationship. The ideal candidate will therefore act with authority and accountability to develop the business and actively contribute to the successful execution of the customer’s agenda. Doing so in a competitive and challenging market like Switzerland requires creativity and an entrepreneurial and innovative mentality.

You will bring

  • Significant experience in the international telecoms/IT sector at a senior management level
  • Proven track record of experience and success with large and complex sales engagements
  • Creative, inspiring individual who can work well in cross-functional teams in a matrix organizational setup
  • Good knowledge of the Swiss telecom market is a plus
  • Proven track record of strong and empowering leadership
  • Track record in building diverse and inclusive teams
  • Experience in running a large organization
  • Ability to build innovative financial solutions benefitting both the customer and Ericsson
  • Perseverance and passion to reach win/win solutions through a collaborative approach, highly skilled at problem-solving to root cause using critical thinking and data analytics
  • Strong social and interpersonal skills
